Senior Technical Director,
NPR and WBUR's Here & Now

Caleb Green is the Senior Technical Director and head audio engineer for NPR and WBUR's Here & Now. Here & Now is a nationally broadcasted NPR show that airs every week day of the year to roughly 5 million+ listeners per week. He is one of two audio engineers keeping the audio flowing smoothly into and out of Studio 5 at WBUR. He is also in charge of curating the extensive music library used on air during the broadcast.

 

In this role, he utilizes all of his audio engineering experience to facilitate best-in-class audio storytelling from around the globe, as well as deeply comprehensive news coverage from NPR, including live special coverage. On a daily basis he is responsible for either the execution of the two hour live show from the on-air console, or mix production for the show, including the daily podcast Here & Now Anytime

 

Before moving to Here & Now, Caleb spent two years as a Broadcast Recording Technician at WBUR. He was a utility player in the WBUR production department, providing extensive coverage for the technical directors of Here & NowOn Point, WBUR's Radio Boston, WBUR's Morning Edition, WBUR's Weekend Edition, WBUR's All Things Considered, and WBUR CitySpace, as well as backend feature mix production.
